Company
Built in East Africa, for East Africa.
Qualitracker Limited is building digital quality infrastructure for laboratories, starting with the everyday reality of running a quality system on paper.
Mission
Replace the binder.
Empower every medical laboratory in East Africa with affordable, intelligent, standards-aligned quality-management tools.
Vision
A regional standard
Become the leading laboratory quality-management platform across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Essence
Quality Through Digital Precision
The single idea every QualiTracker touchpoint must communicate.
Our story
This is not a technology gap. It is a relevance gap.
The problem
East African laboratories have invested in ISO 15189, SLIPTA and WHO LQMS for years, yet quality records still often live on paper: charts, binders and folders. Existing digital tools were built for hospitals with IT staff, reliable internet and large budgets.
How we began
QualiTracker started as a chatbot for asking questions of laboratory SOPs in plain language. The deeper need became clear: a complete digital quality system, with AI retrieval as one layer of it.
What we are doing now
We are preparing a controlled beta of the eQMS with a small cohort of laboratories, and testing the assistant separately before it reaches users.

Where we are, and where we're going
Quality-management software today. An institutional ambition for tomorrow.
Quality-management software
QualiTracker eQMS is a digital quality-management system: document control, records, audits, corrective actions, and an AI assistant grounded in a lab's own documents. It helps a laboratory organize and evidence its own quality work, it does not certify, audit on behalf of, or accredit anyone.
Contributing to accreditation-readiness infrastructure
Longer term, we want to explore the institutional path toward supporting laboratory accreditation readiness across East Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. That is a future ambition, contingent on obtaining the appropriate authorization, not a current capability, and not implied by anything else on this site.
Where we're headed
From Tanzania, outward.
Current focus
Tanzania & East Africa
Become a trusted ISO 15189 quality platform and partner at home, with labs that stay and a pricing model validated on evidence.
Exit signal: retained laboratories, validated pricing, and a national partnership.
Direction, not commitments. Each horizon starts only when the one before it has earned it.
